Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between ABKH Solutions Pty Ltd, trading as “Unplugged Moments” (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and the customer (“you” or “your”). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
We provide the following services:
- Photo Prevention: Use of pouches with security tags to restrict camera access.
- Mobile Phone Collection: Secure storage of guests’ mobile phones during events.
- Security Patrol: Event stewards to enforce photography and phone policies.
2. Quotations, Deposits, and Payments
- All service quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
- To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of the total quotation (inclusive of GST) must be paid within those 7 days.
- The remaining balance, plus a $200 refundable security bond, must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event date.
- If the final payment is not made on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without refund of any deposit paid.
3. Security Bond
- The security bond may be used to cover costs for any lost or damaged items caused by your guests.
- Charges include $10 for a lost or damaged phone pouch and $5 for a lost or damaged security tag.
- Assuming no lost or damaged items, the bond will be refunded within 7 business days following the event.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- You must inform our staff of the preferred means of handling non-compliance with photography or mobile phone policies before the event starts. Such instructions must be reasonable and lawful.
- You agree to indemnify us from any liability for lost or damaged items, including mobile phones.
5. Cancellation Policy
- More than 60 Days Notice: Full refund of the deposit.
- 30–60 Days Notice: 50% refund of the deposit.
- Less than 30 Days Notice: Deposit is non-refundable.
6. Overtime Charges
If the event exceeds the scheduled time, you will be charged $50 per staff member per hour or part thereof.
7. Liability and Indemnity
- We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal items, including mobile phones.
- You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of our services.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
9. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing.
